The book, Survival Strategies for Small and Medium Enterprises, is a follow up to a previous seminal work by the author titled, The Creative Entrepreneur….the focus of this new work is to explore the fundamental steps on successful business creation, development, building and survival. We would also educate the individual or group who desire to establish a business based on those fundamental steps. And besides, they would be able to understand how to appropriate those steps with a view to assuring the growth and survival of their business in a fiercely competitive and therefore, largely constricting socio-economic environment.
This book will also underscore time-tested and creative perspectives on keeping a hard-worn business concern on course based on creative insights into the evolving character of the current market place by exploring creative and growth-inducing business models.
We will indeed, address the contending issues in situating economic growth and development against the twin monsters of unemployment and underemployment as well as the central and expanded role of creative Entrepreneurship as mediator and catalyst for pushing the frontiers of socio-economic realism.
Indeed, one of the major thrusts of this work is to lay on the table of business enterprise development discourse, a body of smart, effective and convincing choices which an individual and/or group can reasonably make; creative choices which have been gleaned from the practical wisdom of enlightened, well-informed and successful practitioners of note.
The choices presented in this book will clearly guarantee the successful creation, building and management of an enterprise on a sustainable basis. They would help in laying down the basic framework for the survival and profitable growth of the business concern in a hostile socio-economic environment.
